Your child will be exposed to a variety of new foods while keeping the same fun and familiar recipes they love. Cooking and baking with whole foods will teach your children how to make the foods they love from the store with better quality ingredients at home.
In addition to whole foods, we are on a mission to teach children how to identify and use medical herbs in everyday life.
Once you know this information, it stays with you for life. Not only that but it is real life magic!
From Scratch
Getting back to basics is empowering.
Now more than ever, there is a need to get back to our roots. We teach children how to create foods from scratch in their own kitchen. Becoming independent in the kitchen is the goal but having the knowledge to create their own staples for a much lower cost and not having to rely on going to the store is next level.




Hello. I’m Holly!
I’m the Hamilton, Ontario based founder of Nourish Cooking Co. I’ve always been a conscious eater but my journey with whole foods and herbs was catapulted when my husband was rushed to the hospital with chest pain at 49 years old. From there we discovered that he had a 90% blockage in his LAD (the widow maker) which required immediate surgery. What we soon learned was that the damage to his heart (which also included a 70% and a 50% blockage in two other arteries) was caused by the chemo and radiation he had when he was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma 22 years earlier (the year we had gotten married).
He was told that he would be on medications for the rest of his life to control his cholesterol and high blood pressure. This wasn’t the answer for us. We completely overhauled his diet, cutting out all refined sugar and white flour as well as red meat and minimal dairy.
Within 4 months he lost 25 lbs and got his blood pressure under control through diet and herbs.
I learned so much through the process but what shook me was everything I was learning, my grandmother had known. This wasn’t rocket science but it was information that had been lost along the way. We have been sold convenience through processed food and pharmaceuticals while running on an endless treadmill of life. It’s no wonder this information has been lost.
Our kids deserve better. It is time to reclaim the wisdom of how we can use the fresh food and herbs around us to heal our own bodies and take back our power and our sovereignty while learning how to cook from scratch.
